HISTORY

Mr. Withrow founded the Law Office of Wendel A. Withrow in 1991 with the goal and vision of providing top quality legal services at a reasonable cost. Although the firm’s size and areas of practice have changed, the dedication to personal attention has not. Each client is unique and receives individual professional service.

Over thirty years of experience has prepared Mr. Withrow and the attorneys of the Law Office of Wendel A. Withrow to counsel their clients through the challenges of the legal system. They believe that the choice of the right attorney…for the right case…is more important now than ever before.

Wendel A. Withrow began his legal career in 1979 with the well-respected firm of Stokes, Carnahan & Fields in Amarillo, Texas. His 30-year litigation career started with the representation of plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of cases in both state and federal court. As a young lawyer, he had the rare experience of first-chair responsibility in both jury and non-jury trials. Returning home to the Dallas area in 1981, Mr. Withrow joined the Carrollton firm of McCracken, Taylor, & Nelson. His mentor, Howard McCracken, Jr., was one of the first Board Certified Personal Injury Attorneys in Texas.

Wendel Withrow became Board Certified Civil Trial Law in 1988 and Personal Injury Trial Law in 1992 by the Texas Board of Specialization. He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and previously honored as a Texas Monthly Super Lawyer.
